Lounge Cars

The Transcantábrico has four lounge cars original from 1923, which take us back to the last century, but with the comforts of this century.

The decoration of these lounges creates a special ambiance, unlike any other journey; in addition to offering very personalized onboard service, there are only 14 accommodation suites.

Among these lounge cars, we highlight the glass-enclosed panoramic car, a place to enjoy the landscape in a relaxed manner and have a tea or coffee.

In the restaurant lounge cars, a la carte breakfasts are served daily, where we can taste: omelets, pies, cheeses, cold cuts, sweets…, meals or dinners prepared by the chef.

We can also taste the local specialties from each place we visit; some of these meals will be off the train, at scheduled sites: selected and renowned restaurants in the place.

The bar car is another essential place and is open from early in the morning until the early hours of the morning, including a 24-hour service, to attend to its customers.

The pub car is a lounge for meetings where leisure activities such as parties, music, live performances are held…

The Suites

The suites of El Transcantábrico are spacious and decorated with wood, featuring exclusive details, consisting of a living room, convertible sofa-bed, large windows, and a private bathroom with hydro-massage shower, hairdryer, and a varied set of toiletries.

The suites consist of a wardrobe, luggage storage, desk, mini-bar, power outlets, and safe.
