Day 1 (Saturday). Santiago de Compostela - Viveiro

Meeting point at the Parador de los Reyes Católicos in Santiago de Compostela at 12:00 p.m. After the reception, we will visit the historic center of this city, a pilgrimage destination for a thousand years, which treasures countless artistic gems led by its splendid cathedral. After lunch, our luxury bus will take us to Ferrol, where the El Transcantábrico awaits us. Upon arrival, the crew will offer us a welcome toast while the train travels to Viveiro. We will tour the beautiful old town of this town, where we will have dinner and spend the night on board.

Day 2 (Sunday). Viveiro - Oviedo

We'll start the morning, as every day, enjoying our delicious à la carte and buffet breakfast. The Transcantábrico will take us to Ribadeo, a historic Galician town bordering the Principality of Asturias. From here, we'll travel by bus along the Lugo coast to the Playa de Las Catedrales, one of the most spectacular beaches in the world. Panoramic tour of Ribadeo and lunch. With the train, we'll venture into Asturian lands. Arrival and visit to Luarca, the White Village of the Green Coast, before returning to the train and heading to Oviedo. Night in Oviedo.

Day 3 (Monday). Oviedo - Llanes

We start the day by going to Avilés, an ancient town that has preserved a valuable historic center. Then we will head to Gijón, a city as open to the Cantabrian Sea as it is full of cultural events. Lunch. Afterwards, we will travel to the capital of the Principality of Asturias, Oviedo. Visit, before returning to the train. Dinner on board during the journey to Llanes, where we will spend the night.

Day 4 (Tuesday). Llanes

With our bus, we will ascend to the heart of the Principality of Asturias to reach the magnificent Picos de Europa National Park. We will visit Lake Enol and then head to the Sanctuary of Covadonga, a sacred place steeped in tradition and legend. Later, we will visit Cangas de Onís. Lunch. After lunch, following the route of the International Descent of the Sella River, we will arrive in Llanes, a wonderful fishing village in Eastern Asturias. Visit and free time. Dinner and overnight stay in Llanes.

Day 5 (Wednesday). Llanes - Cabezón de la Sal

During breakfast, we will journey into the lands of Cantabria aboard the train. From Unquera, we will take a bus to Potes, passing through the impressive Hermida Gorge. We will visit this charming Cantabrian village, followed by a thermal circuit at the Balneario de la Hermida. After lunch, we will visit El Capricho in Comillas, a colorful and brilliant 19th-century palace designed by Antonio Gaudí. Dinner and overnight stay in Cabezón de la Sal.

Day 6 (Thursday). Cabezón de la Sal-Santander

Our first visit will be to the town of Santillana del Mar, with its magnificently preserved medieval old town, and to the Neo-cave of Altamira, a museum and faithful reproduction of the greatest example of Upper Paleolithic cave art. After lunch, we will head by train to Santander, the elegant capital of Cantabria, where we will have a guided tour and free time. Night in Santander.

Day 7 (Friday). Santander-Carranza

The Transcantabrico sets course for Bilbao, a city full of dynamism that has managed to reinvent itself after the decline of its traditional heavy industry. The visit to the city includes entry to the famous Guggenheim Museum, a symbol of this new Bilbao. After lunch, we will have free time to enjoy before boarding the train. Dinner and overnight stay in Carranza.

Day 8 (Saturday). Carranza-San Sebastián

Enjoying our last breakfast on board, we will return to Bilbao, where the El Transcantábrico bus awaits us to take us to San Sebastián. We will visit this city of elegant beauty and a venue for important cultural events. The trip ends around 1:00 p.m. in San Sebastián.
