Day 1 (Saturday). Santiago de Compostela - Viveiro

Group reception at the Parador Nacional Reyes Católicos in Santiago at 12:00 p.m. Santiago, a destination for pilgrims, awaits like a gem; the Plaza del Obradoiro, Platerías, the Cathedral. Lunch in Santiago. In the afternoon, we will arrive in Ferrol where the train awaits us, Welcome Aboard to head to Viveiro, visit the town, dinner, and overnight stay in Viveiro.

Day 2 (Sunday). Viveiro - Luarca

Breakfast on the train as we travel to Ribadeo, the border between Asturias and Galicia. We will explore the town and visit the famous Playa de Las Catedrales (Cathedrals Beach). Lunch will be provided. In the afternoon, we will continue our journey to Luarca, known as the White Village of the Green Coast. Explore the town, enjoy dinner, and stay overnight in Luarca.

Día 3 (lunes). Luarca - Oviedo

In the lands of the Principality, the train heads towards its capital, Oviedo, known for its exquisite gastronomy and a remarkable collection of unique pre-Romanesque monuments. We'll have lunch in Oviedo. In the afternoon, we'll visit Gijón, another excellent Asturian city. Dinner and overnight stay will be in Oviedo.

Day 4 (Tuesday). Oviedo - Llanes

On our way from Arriondas, we reach the heart of Asturias. We'll explore the Picos de Europa National Park, ascend to the lakes, visit the Covadonga Sanctuary, and conclude with a stop in Cangas de Onís. After lunch, we'll head to Llanes in the afternoon, a delightful fishing village in Eastern Asturias. Dinner and overnight stay will be in Llanes.

Day 5 (Wednesday). Llanes - Santander

While having breakfast, the train will arrive at Cabezón de la Sal, from where we will depart by bus to visit the Altamira Neocave and Santillana del Mar. Lunch in Santillana. In the afternoon, we will take the train to Santander, visit the city, have dinner, and spend the night in Santander.

Day 6 (Thursday). Santander - Espinosa de Los Monteros

Day 7 (Friday). Espinosa de Los Monteros - Cistierna

In the morning, we will arrive at Mataporquera, from where we will go by bus to visit the Canal de Castilla and the Romanesque art of Palencia: Villalcázar de Sirga, Carrión de los Condes, and Frómista. Lunch will be served. We will take the train at Guardo, from where we will depart to Cistierna. Dinner and overnight stay in Cistierna.

Day 8 (Saturday). Cistierna - León

On our last day, we'll enjoy a beautiful train journey through the rivers and valleys of the Leonese mountains to its capital. We'll visit this city full of history, San Isidoro, the Cathedral, Botines, and the Old Town. We'll conclude our trip at the Parador Nacional de San Marcos around 1:00 p.m.
