- Potes (Cantabria) Undoubtedly, beauty and charm define Potes, which is located in a privileged spot at the confluence of the Deva and Quiviesa rivers and the meeting point of the four valleys of the region, surrounded by spectacular landscapes. Also known as the “village of bridges,” its name originates from there. Exploring Potes means immersing oneself in history; its narrow streets, old houses, churches… in the old part will transport you to another era.
- Santillana del Mar (Cantabria) Recognized as one of Spain’s towns with the highest historical and artistic value, it is also referred to as the “Monumental City.” It is also famous for being near the Altamira Cave, considered the Sistine Chapel of Rock Art. In 1979, due to the potential damage to the cave from a large number of visitors, it was closed, and a replica was inaugurated in 2001. But Santillana del Mar is history, art, and culture; its monumental character is impressive, with its collegiate church, noble houses, palaces, towers, medieval streets…
- Llanes (Asturias) Llanes embodies maritime tradition, beaches, ethnography, folklore, beaches, and the Picos de Europa. Moreover, this fishing village boasts one of the best-preserved historic centers in Asturias. A basilica, palaces, heraldic houses, a medieval tower, streets, alleys, the lighthouse… all form a set that makes this village one of the most beautiful in Spain.
- Luarca (Asturias) Luarca is a charming fishing village and an important fishing port since the Middle Ages, with significant traces of its renowned past that can be discovered in its old neighborhoods, remnants of its ancient fortress, bridges, chapels, palaces, heraldic houses, viewpoints… and for many, the most impressive cemetery in northern Spain. It is famous because one of the most illustrious figures in the world, who contributed greatly to humanity, Severo Ochoa, Nobel Prize in Medicine, was born here.
- Ribadeo (Galicia) The name Ribadeo is linked to the famous Playa de Las Catedrales, a place formed by beaches at the foot of cliffs that have created unique formations like narrow passageways between cliffs, crevices, caves, arches… a very interesting visit. Ribadeo is located in a privileged environment with spectacular landscapes, at the estuary of the Eo River, marking the natural border between Galicia and Asturias. The historic center is also a must-visit, preserving remarkable buildings, churches, chapels, convents, houses with coat of arms, towers, constructions of the “Indianos” who went to the Americas and returned…
